WORKPLACE TRAFFIC CONTROL

COURSE STATUS: 

This course is approved by the NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) and accredited by the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board. Successful completion results in a qualification recognised under the Australian Quality Training Framework.

COURSE OBJECTIVE: 

        To ensure that participants fully comprehend the importance of the position of Traffic Controller.

        To make participants aware of the procedures and skills required to successfully control traffic.

        To raise the image of the position of Traffic Controller and to motivate participants to perform the task of controlling traffic to the best of their ability.

TRAINEES: 

People who should complete this training are people who may be required to control traffic using a STOP/SLOW bat, including labourers, plants drivers, laboratory personnel, gangers, leading hands and survey field hands.

GROUP SIZE:

The minimum number of trainees for a course is eight (8) and the maximum is fifteen (15).

DURATION: 

An 8 hour course conducted 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

MORNING TEA AND LUNCH: 

Morning tea is supplied and lunch may be brought in by trainees, or ordered through school arrangements, at trainees personal cost.

CERTIFICATION: 

Trainees successfully completing the training receive: 

A small plastic sealed Traffic Controllers Certificate to carry and show at any time as evidence of their qualification.

This course is subject to change and like other training providers, CTM Training Solutions, must review delivery if there are insufficient enrolments. If cancellation occurs efforts will be made to reschedule the course and clients will be contacted regarding refund of their deposit.
